H.R. 4192 – Confronting the Threat of Domestic Terrorism Act

As the events at the Capitol last week were unfolding, independent investigative journalist Whitney Webb warned that the protests would be used to clamp down on “domestic terrorism”. And now Congress is preparing to reintroduce H.R. 4192 – Confronting the Threat of Domestic Terrorism Act . It appears that the proposed legislation redefines certain acts of protest and civil disobedience as terrorism.
