  1. Hi Mark: Thanks for the excellent article. FYI, Glenn Diesen conducted a powerful interview with Michael Hudson a few days ago (I believe it was around May 28th). It’s available on YouTube. Hudson takes off the gloves, and posits that in the context of its collapsing industrial (i.e., genuine) economy, the U.S.’s only option … and one that it is obviously pursuing … is to militarily control the world’s oil, and to demand fealty, payments and bribes from world nations that need the oil. It is well worth the 45 minutes, IMHO. Best, Stewart
