Vax Manufacturer Liability Bill (Texas)

There is huge swirl surrounding the CDC’s announcement that they are no longer recommending that healthy kids and pregnant women take the dangerous Covid injection (but for some reason it is ok to give dangerous shots to unhealthy kids and older frail people who are even more vulnerable to harm). I say swirl because it doesn’t appear to be real in any way. As of today, the children’s vaccine schedule has not been modified. Unless I am missing something, it appears that most doctors and parents will continue to follow the unchanged schedule…and more kids are going to be harmed. This has all the markings of a gimmick. I would like to be wrong here…please explain to me why I am wrong.

Here is some real news. Texas HB 3441, the Vax Manufacturer Liability Bill by Shelley Luther, is now in Senate State Affairs. The bill proposes holding vaccine manufacturers liable for advertising harmful vaccines. Due to federal liability protections given to vaccine manufactures, the incentives are work the wrong way–vaccine manufacturers who aren’t penalized for harmful products generate huge profits from them. HB 3441 helps to align incentives so that manufacturers must produce safe vaccines or suffer losses. This is the single most important policy change needed to improve the safety of vaccine products.
