So where do rights come from? The Declaration of Independence asserts that certain inalienable rights come from God. I think there is a strong basis for this assertion, but apparently not everyone agrees! And if you don’t agree that rights come from God, then from where do they come? There is a problem here…

  1. I recommend the first 3 or 4 essays in the book “Philosophy Who Needs It” and for Rand’s discussion of rights “Man’s Rights” chapter 12 “The Virtue of Selfishness” and the essay may be included in the
    book “Capitalism The Unknown Ideal” mostly by Rand.

    Honest, you won’t go to the hot place for reading Rand.
