I think the medical industry has always been prejudiced against women for years and years. Maybe centuries. Mutilation for breast cancer that did not exist. Survival rates for women for heart surgery were much lower than men in the past. The Tubal Ligation procedure was known in 1927 but only wealthy women could get one. God forbid a woman should enjoy sex w/o the threat of pregnancy.
