The Financial Coup: More Missing Money & FASAB Standard 56 with Dr. Mark Skidmore
For our next interview, we are bringing back Dr. Mark Skidmore to discuss the latest developments in a story that is becoming increasingly incoherent: trillions of dollars reported missing since 1998, with an update on amounts announced missing from 2016 to date. A recent Bloomberg article reported on another $35T in undocumented accounting adjustments. Both Dr. Skidmore and The Solari Report have been focused on bringing transparency to this area of the U.S. federal credit and financial systems for many years.
Fantastic interview Mark with CAF. We are so fortunate to have your insights and benefits from your ongoing economic analyses. Thank you for your integrity, meticulous detail, and willingness to bring transparency to data and ongoing trends seen in the world. Making data sets and detailed analytic methods available to those of us who are also ‘data wonks’ especially valuable. Keep up the work and, in the face of those trying to shut you down, steady onward…. You are a very strong communicator, breaking down difficult concepts and data analytics, a rare talent.
Thank you A. Bingham. I really appreciate your kinds words. Mark
Dr. Skidmore, thank you for being a beacon in the night for truth-seekers out there. Enjoyed your recent interview on the Solari Report with CAF. My wife and I are in southeast Michigan also. Go Green!
Thank you, Corey. Go Green!
Thank you for all that you do. I have been a Solari subscriber since 2016. I was fortunate enough to see you and Catherine speak in Ashburn, NC a few years after that. I remember sitting next to your wife at a table. You made me think about epistemiology and apply it in all aspects of life, which is so very helpful, especially nowadays. It was lovely meeting you and your wife, and Catherine as well, and I hope you will continue growing this blog. I am a federal employee that is stuck with the TSP, so I will continue to keenly follow your work solving the TSP mystery!
Thank you Audrey. Let’s keep trying to help each other make sense of the world. Best regards, Mark
