Vanishing Ranks within the US Treasury

This article discusses the challenges Janet Yellen, the expected incoming U.S. Treasury Secretary may face in reconstituting the staff within Treasury.

Perhaps limited staffing is why Treasury officials have not responded to my inquiries regarding the irregular treatment of the Thrift Savings Fund account (TSF) it manages. The TSF is a pension fund for government employees and retirees. However, I suspect that they aren’t responding because bringing attention to the issue would be at best embarrassing and at worst bring on legal action for mismanagement of assets that belong to government employees and retirees.
