Those who favor surveillance are not the targets Governments want to surveil.
It is not entirely surprising that one third of those polled would accept total surveillance by intrusive cameras. The percentage of voters who do not have a clue about Citizen Sovereignty, about the Rights and Responsibility of Citizens under a Republic, the Rights accorded under the Constitution. The rights of Natural aw under the Lordship of the Christian God under whom the Authority of the United States was declared. No sir, most have little or no comprehension of those lofty Ideals and basic Citizen Rights, ever less of the Responsibilities and Obligations attached that support and enable such a Republic. In fact a poll might find that such awareness deficit was at an even higher level. But I say, Make No Mistake, any such level of ignorance does not warrant , nor Justify nor in any way mandate the negation of Rights upon all the other Citizens by way of a total surveillance regime. The very fact that these ignorant persons agree to sacrificing their own Rights is only a sign of their own fear, their own inadequacies, their own lack of preparation, their own diminished morality in some cases, it is not a sentence on all Citizenry, and any politician fool enough to think otherwise will find the wrath of citizenry surrounding his office, his temporary office.
