Duke University Doctors Refuse 14-Year-old Girl a Kidney Transplant Because She Hasn’t Received COVID-19 Vaccine

@COVID19Up: Brought from Ukraine to the U.S. in December 2018, 14-year-old Yulia Hicks (https://christinehicks66.wixsite.com/kidney-for-yulia-gra) was given up by her first two adoptive families before Chrissy and Lee Hicks adopted her in 2021. She suffers from Senior Loken Syndrome, a genetic condition that is destroying her kidneys and eyes and will soon force her to have a kidney transplant. Unfortunately, Yulia is now facing another crisis, one caused by her own physicians, writes (https://alexberenson.substack.com/p/duke-university-surgeons-are-refusing) Alex Berenson. Doctors at Duke University, where Yulia has been awaiting a kidney transplant, have told her parents they will not give her a new kidney unless she is vaccinated against COVID-19, even though Yulia has already recovered from COVID-19.
