Who is China selling US bonds to? Who would buy them?
Hi Colleen, I am not sure and I am not sure whether it is possible to find out…at least not easily. It could be the Federal Reserve or perhaps “shell” countries buying them up. In the past, countries like Ireland or one of the small Caribbean countries will buy far more US bonds that it seems they would have the capacity to purchase.
Interesting. Lots of offshore accounts in the Caribbean. Thankyou.
