Update from the Netherlands – The Riots over Covid Restrictions Continue

Here is an update from one of my blog readers who lives in the Netherlands:

One day after riots in Rotterdam, same the Telagraaf::

“Night filled with violence and riots – dozens of arrests – police officers wounded”

Cities mentioned: The Hague – Stein, Roermond (Southern part of the Netherlands) – Urk (former island with traditional christian population of fishermen) – Utrecht – Bilthoven – Eindhoven – Katwijk aan Zee.

In the same night, two games in the highest football (soccer) division were interrupted because of riot-like violence.

As a result of the riots the day earlier in Rotterdam, three people ended in hospital with gun shot wounds.
